What are the general techniques for brow lifting? In general there are 2 types of lifts. It’s either done using an open technique where you use an incision from ear to ear commonly all within the hairline or modification of that incision,or using an endoscopic technique through 3-5 incisions in the hairline. It really depends upon the severity of the laxity and issues that need to be treated. Very commonly, I’ll perform an endoscopic brow lift for most patients who have a low forehead and who have mostly lateral upper eyebrow hooding issues. For patients that have high foreheads and who have severe laxity I may use an open technique but that really depends upon the individual.
