How Is A Breast Lift Different Than A Breast Reduction?

Serving New York City, Manhattan

What is the difference between a breast lift and a breast reduction? Many times the techniques are the same just a matter of how much volume of tissues being removed during the procedure. In general most breast lifts, I do not remove a tissue, I only remove a tissue in most instances to provide an adequate shape when I mold the breast tissue but the breasts are lifted, the aeriola are sometimes made smaller and the different techniques are very similar to what I used to to do a breast reduction procedures. I do use a lollipop incissions where making incissions around the border of the aeriola and a vertical component from the base of the aeriola down to the chest wall and sometimes if they’re much larger I’ll incorporate and anchor type incissions which adds an incission along in primary folds as well.
