Do I need a facelift?
Many patients will come and say, “Do I need a facelift?” And that’s a question that I return back saying, “No, you don’t need a facelift. If you want a facelift, I can provide that for you if you are a candidate.” So who is a candidate for a facelift? In general, patients who have deflation of the face, skin laxity, severe laxity, those are good candidates. Commonly, these patients in their 40s, 50s, 60s and upwards, they have descended soft tissue around the cheek, gelling along the jawline, a lot of loose skin around the side of the face and in their neck. And those are the patients that are the best candidates for a facelift procedure.
