Cosmetic Surgery – Is it Right for You?

There isn’t a professional cosmetic surgeon in the game today that would, or should, suggest that anyone consider surgery without plenty of careful thought. Quite to the contrary, most of the world’s most successful and reputable surgeons often insist that the vast majority of people are already perfect just as they are.
As far as we’re concerned, we view cosmetic surgery as something that’s wholly optional and should only be considered for the right reasons. We insist on offering impartial and honest advice prior to agreeing to go ahead with any procedure, major or minor. Of course, we get asked on a regular basis by clients whether or not they qualify, which we always answer with a series of questions of our own. For example, we’re interested to learn what it is that has spurred the decision. Why exactly are you thinking about surgery? Has it been something you’ve mulled over for years, or did you just recently have the idea? Did you reach the decision alone, or were your encouraged/pushed? What are you hoping to get out of the process? Are you looking to reverse the aging process? Are you looking for a change to combat depression? It’s only by asking all of the above questions and more that it becomes possible to identify which candidates are, in fact, suited to the cosmetic procedures they’re interested in, along with which, for their own benefit, may be asked to think twice. The same also goes for physical health concerns – it’s important to be fully honest and open with regard to medical history and current medication use in order for a safe decision to be made. Determining whether or not cosmetic surgery is right for you means much more than establishing whether or not you can afford it.
